Does dashing into the chilly waters off Plymouth Beach in the middle of the winter to raise money for the JHC Cancer Center at Jordan Hospital sound like fun to you?
Since the first brave plunger jumped into the icy sea eight years ago, Jordan’s Polar Plunge has funded over $700,000 in innovative technology at the Jordan Hospital Club Cancer Center. This year’s goal, through plungers and corporate sponsors, is to raise $100,000 to help fund new “smart” computerized pumps for the Center. These pumps will improve and make safer treatment plans for chemotherapy patients.
